The Angora stables are a result of two very passionate friends, Mehmet Koruturk & Kenan Borekci, both hailing from the capital of Turkey, Ankara. The city was once called Angora prior to the 1920’s and is believed to have meant “grand bazaar”.

The vision of the label is to maintain a high profile in the electronic music industry by releasing musically strong elements by acclaimed producers and to also play a role of “vitrine”, by creating a medium for exposure showcasing hidden gems from around the globe. While quality music is the basis for Angora, taking chances in promoting innovative sounds is something we are not afraid of.
